Swedish Medical Center PET/CT Technologist in Issaquah, Washington

Description:

Swedish Medical Center is looking for a PET CT Technologist (Per Diem, Days) to work for the PET CT Department at Swedish Issaquah in Issaquah, WA.

The PET CT Technologist is responsible for utilizing radiopharmaceuticals as well as oral and IV contrast agents to perform a variety of diagnostic PET, PET/CT and CT examinations.

In this position you will:

  • Utilize a multi-slice CT scanner and power injector

  • Start IVs and administers various contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals at the direction of the physician

  • Provide patient care services as needed in a professional, compassionate manner

  • Participate in all daily duties necessary to perform high-quality care and imaging exams

  • Adhere to all safety standards with regard to SMC policies, regulatory requirements and follow established procedures

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Successful completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program

  • Certified with the Nuclear Medicine Technologists Certification Board (NMTCB) or registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced registry in Nuclear Medicine

  • Washington State Certified Radiologic Technologist – Nuclear Medicine license

  • Recent graduates must pass the certification exam within one year of graduation and hire

  • Maintain CPR certification

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • CT Technologist certification and pervious experience

  • One year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
